Versatile Bean Hummus
Servings : About 2 cups
Time : 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 cups white beans or chickpeas, cooked
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup tahini
2 tbsp olive oil
1 to 2 lemons, juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
½ to 1 tbsp salt
Optional : Add sun-dried tomatoes, marinated peppers, caramelized garlic or grilled pine nuts to change things up. Be creative!
Note: Adjust the quantity of lemon, garlic powder, cumin and salt to taste.
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend everything in your food processor or high speed blender until smooth and enjoy !
Tip: Use 1 tbsp of this hummus and dilute with water and/or olive oil to get a delicious salad dressing.
