Versatile Bean Hummus


Servings : About 2 cups

Time : 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups white beans or chickpeas, cooked

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 cup tahini

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 to 2 lemons, juice

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • ½ to 1 tbsp salt

  • Optional : Add sun-dried tomatoes, marinated peppers, caramelized garlic or grilled pine nuts to change things up. Be creative!

Note: Adjust the quantity of lemon, garlic powder, cumin and salt to taste.

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend everything in your food processor or high speed blender until smooth and enjoy !

Tip: Use 1 tbsp of this hummus and dilute with water and/or olive oil to get a delicious salad dressing.
